There will be a free community martial arts workshop held Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Synergy Combat Arts Training Facility located at 3106 Old Marion Rd., Metropolis, IL 62960. For more information call (847) 370-6175.

There is a free meal tonight (1/5/2026) at the Metropolis Community Center located at 900 W. 10th Street at 5:00 pm. All are welcome. Hygiene items and diapers will be given for those in need. Transportation is available by texting or calling (618) 645-0042.

We are celebrating Red Ribbon Week with dress up days. The theme is "Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free!" Our students will also be going to the Starlab on Monday or Wednesday!
